Call of Pripyat features many of the gameplay innovations that were added in Clear Sky. The game is set shortly after the events of Shadow of Chernobyl and the shutting down of the brain scorcher. It follows Major Degtyarev and his investigation of the 5 crashed Stingray helicopters which were part of the failed Operation Fairway. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:Call of Pripyat is a post-apocalyptic FPS game with RPG, survival, and horror elements developed by GSC Game World and set in the same universe as the previous games.
